April 2007 - April Fort Wayne research trip a success
At the April 28 general meeting, one thing was certain – 100% of the members who traveled to Allen County Library in Fort Wayne, Indiana had a fantastic time. A number of attendees remarked on their fervor and their finds. (Photos below show a few of the AAGS members working away on the ACL trip).

And the saying, “It’s a small world” hit very close to home when one visitor at the meeting indicated that she was researching the surname ‘Brooks.’ After asking a few questions about the ‘Brooks’ family line, member Velma Southern recognized that she had just encountered a new relative. Just goes to show -- you never know who you’ll run into.
