October 25, 2008 - Visit by American Sickle Cell Anemia Association
In October, a representative from the American Sickle Cell Anemia Association provided the group with interesting facts related to sickle cell disease, as well as local services available. The presentation brought out the importance of learning family history from a medical perspective. Afterwards, members participated in on-site screening.
