April 23, 2005 - AAGS Attends John Carroll University Conference

AAGS held its April general meeting at John Carroll U. in conjunction with the conference "Life and Death in the African Diaspora: A Celebration of the Humanities." AAGS members David Simpson and Dr. Deborah Abbott conducted sessions on recording family history and researching family history. The informative day featured a superb presentation by keynote speaker Dr. Karla FC Holloway of Duke University. The event was coordinated by author Regennia Williams, Ph.D., of Cleveland State University.
