At left is a photo of AAGS’s Tamra Stokes hosting our
recent 2005 Genealogy Black History Dinner. Tamra enlightened the 80 plus attendees with
poetry, song and chants regarding our African roots and history. She also informed us of our
African names according to our birth dates. She was a very enthusiast and charismatic
