AAGS members joined other genealogists from across the country on a seven-day Caribbean cruise. The ship, Mariner of the Seas (Royal Caribbean Cruise Line), was the classroom. Topics were varied, including presentations from our own Casandra Brown (scrapbooking, creative displays, quilting) and Deborah Abbott (oral history, slave research, federal census research, collateral lines). Other speakers: Diana, Gary & Drew Smith, Eileen & Sean O’Duill, George Morgan, James Petty, Jana Broglin, John Colletta, and Mike LeClerc.
